All of us love good news stories and especially when we need one ourselves. So, this section is about exactly that kind of story - a good news story.
They are stories that lift us up - make us feel good about the world - stories which place a warm glow in our hearts and a smile on our faces.
These stories may be about anything - including, a person’s good fortune, the rescue of an animal, or someone’s extraordinary act of kindness. They each have the power to make us feel, quite Over the Moon!
The Picture So Far: Part 2
I told my son nearly three years ago now, that we are living in a sci-fi movie. The only difference being that instead of the movie ending in 90min – leaving us all entertained – even a little disturbed – this movie isn’t ending.
We are living in the real world and what is going on in our real world is also plainly real. It is very sci-fi-like – in fact, like a sci-fi movie of the worst kind - and one which if allowed to continue unchecked, is NOT likely to end in a good way. But the ending of this movie is by no means certain yet. It appears the People are the ultimate screenwriters and the ending is theirs.

To Be A Human - Draft Definition
I’ve had this in mind for some while. It’s the idea of drafting a Blueprint of a person’s vision of what a human is – or maybe should be. I could say it’s my vision, but that’s not the point. I’d like to share the idea and have you add to it.
So here I have listed some of the basic attributes which many of us might already have in their own minds. I’d love it if you cared to add to it – either by adding your thoughts to the list I’ve started here or adding them to your own version. Maybe at some point we could have a discussion on the subject with a view to agreeing what we all see and what we all want to be.

Banker Wins - Again!
Recently, the UK gov’t was found guilty of a serious breach of the law. No punishment was issued. So what’s the big deal? you ask - it’s business as usual. Yes, indeed - but the REASON the gov’t wasn’t punished is interesting.
Interesting? Perhaps it is better described as a sting. The state getting away scot-free with a serious crime of this nature is further proof – as if we needed any - that we’re living in a post-justice world. If anyone else were found guilty of the same offence, they’d have been fined £10 million. The secret - as it is for any successful sting, hustle or con trick [take your pick] - is the set up.
