Our growing media platform - being a combination of both our main Headline and Local sites - has 3 fundamental activities.
Sharing news and information to a local, national and global audience is our primary activity. We select, curate and share 1000s of articles - from an array of sources - across a wide spectrum of subjects. Our aim is to help people find truth and make better, more informed decisions in our rapidly changing world.
Our business model involves a further 2 important activities. One of these being, providing media, marketing and financial support for what we call Community Inspired Projects. CONNECT has itself been inspired to help birth and sustain local projects, projects which deliver valuable benefits to the communities in which they're located.

Our third and key activity - which enables both the above activities to succeed - is the promotion of local businesses, traders and artisans - who we see as being the lifeblood of every local community.

A CONNECT Partner acts as Media Platform Director for their chosen local CONNECT site. As a Director, you will build and lead a team to develop and promote your local media platform.
Whilst it can be valuable for you to possess already, certain skills and experience, this is not a prerequisite for joining CONNECT as a Partner. Instead, our focus is placed on three key qualities. We look for and measure aptitude, affinity and alignment. This translates as meaning - age, qualifications - and a lack of experience - are no barrier to being a Partner.

This is a self-employed opportunity for persons who will be based at home- working either part-time or full-time - in a geographical area local to them.
As a Media Platform Director, you will set your own goals, targets and work pattern - enabling you to achieve your best work-life balance. And even working just part-time, our operating model can deliver financial rewards beyond expectation.
Whilst being home-based, you will not be working alone. You will interact with other Partners - and our wider editorial and marketing teams - to optimise the offerings to our readership and local businesses.
