In Tetbury, we are lucky to have some lovely and very active local villages and towns nearby.
Closest to us - in Gloucestershire - are Nailsworth, Stroud and Cirencester. With a blurring of our nearest county border - just a few miles away, we also have Malmesbury in Wiltshire.

Some people are aware of who they serve – and that they serve. Some people find out – they recognise it and act on it. But is there a problem in doing so for some people in the public sector – among them, teachers?

A Rural Whodunnit?
It looks as if badgers have been framed for a crime they’re not guilty of. That’s bad enough – but it gets worse – not only are innocent animals punished by death, there’s a high-level cover-up protecting the guilty parties.
The story reads like a thriller – a blend of John Grisham and John le Carre, but set in the British countryside. There’s murder most foul [well, animal killings]. There’s a long-running smear campaign against an innocent scapegoat. Add to that, conflicts of interests, powerful establishment pillars and political shenanigans… how will this real-life thriller end?
